PUB2000: Help Panels Occupy a Third of Publisher's Working Area

SYMPTOMS
If you are using a video resolution of 800 x 600 or 640 x 480, the Publisher Help Panels takes up one-half of the Publisher working area (the scratch area and the area occupied by the page).
WORKAROUND
If you want to view Publisher Help Panels but you also want to increase the
size of your working area, use one of the following methods:
- If your video card supports higher resolution modes, switch to a
display driver that provides higher resolution (such as 1024 x 768
or 1280 x 1024). Be sure that the driver you select is supported by
your video card.
- Decrease the size of the toolbar. (To do this, click Hide Toolbar
Text on the Tools menu.)
- Hide the rulers. (To do this, click Hide Rulers on the Tools
menu.)
