SYMPTOMS
When sending subscription offers to share folders from Outlook
you may get the following error message
Unable to find file newsubsc.oft.
followed by:
Unable to mail new subscription offers
CAUSE
The Office Templates folder is on a shared location. Even though the
Newsubsc.oft file is installed on the local computer when folder sharing is
installed, the registry points to the shared templates location on the
network and not the templates folder on the local computer.
RESOLUTION
Edit the registry to change the location where Outlook looks for the file,
Newsubsc.oft.
