SUMMARY
To cancel an active menu send a WM_CANCELMODE message to the window that owns it.
MORE INFORMATION
When you send the WM_CANCELMODE message to the owner window of an active
menu, the window exits the menu mode. You can use this technique to
force the abandonment of active TrackPopupMenu or TrackPopupMenuEx.
