SYMPTOMS
When you change the font settings for composing, reading, replying to, and forwarding e-mail, the new settings do not apply when you use Microsoft Word as your your e-mail editor.
CAUSE
The font formatting changes for composing, reading, replying to, and forwarding e-mail apply only to Plain Text, HTML, and Microsoft Outlook
Rich Text message formats.
RESOLUTION
With Word selected as your default e-mail editor, open a new message and change the default font.
