ACC2000: Renaming a Data Access Page Only Renames the Shortcut

The page still opens correctly even if the shortcut and the HTML file have different names. If you rename, move, or delete the HTML file and then try to open the page using the shortcut, you receive a prompt to locate the HTML file.

If you delete the page and click Yes to the prompt to delete the link and page (HTML) file, Access will delete the HTML file, even though it has a different name.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

1. In the Database window, click Pages under Objects, and then click New.
2. In the New Data Access Page dialog box, click Design View. Click OK.
3. On the File menu, click Save.
4. In the File Name box, type Page1. Note the name of the folder, and then click Save.
5. On the File menu, click Close.
6. Select Page1. On the Edit menu, click Rename.
7. Type My Page, and then press ENTER.
   
   Note that the name of the HTML file is still Page1.
