SYMPTOMS
When you use the Ext.exe program on the Windows 98 Startup disk to
extract files from the Windows 98 CD-ROM, you may receive the following
error message:
The command line passed to EXTRACT.EXE was invalid!
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Source Path, File(s) To Extract, and
Destination Path entries contain a total of more than 90 characters.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, extract fewer files at a time, or extract the
files to a shorter directory path so that the total number of characters
does not exceed 90.
