OL2000: Original Message Text Does Not Indent in Reply or Forward

SYMPTOMS
If you use the e-mail option, "Include and indent original message text"
when you forward or reply to a message, the included original message is
not indented from the left margin.
CAUSE
If the original message format is plain text, indentation does not occur
in the reply or forwarded message.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
"Include and indent original message text" functions as expected if the
original message format is Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook Rich Text,
or HTML.
