SYMPTOMS
The custom toolbar button, Edit Message, is unavailable at times.
CAUSE
The toolbars, and menus, although customizable, are modal. In other words,
certain buttons and menu items will be visible depending on what type of e-
mail message you are viewing.
MORE INFORMATION
The Edit Message command is designed to allow editing of HTML or plain text
email messages before forwarding or replying. The button or menu item, will
only be available when you open a message that was created in HTML or plain
text format. If you open a mail message that was created and sent as
Microsoft Outlook Rich Text or when you use Word as your e-mail editor, the
button will not appear on the toolbar, and it will not be available under
the Edit menu.
