CAUSE
Some Windows CE Toolkit registry values are incorrectly reset when
Developer Studio is started.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem:
- Close Developer Studio.
- Create the following two empty registry keys:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\DevStudio\5.0\Build System\
Components\CE Configurations\H/PC Ver. 1.00\Win32 (WCE x86em)]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\DevStudio\5.0\Build System\
Components\CE Configurations\H/PC Ver. 1.01\Win32 (WCE x86em)]
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in the Microsoft
