SYMPTOMS
When you try to connect to an SSL (HTTPS) Web site using
Internet Explorer on a Windows NT 3.51-based computer that communicates across
a Microsoft Proxy 2.0 server using NTLM (challenge/response) authentication,
you are prompted for your security credentials (user name and password) three
times, regardless of whether or not the credentials are valid. You then receive
an "Access is denied" error message.
