PC Rmt: Attachments from MAC Clients Show Garbage File Names

SYMPTOMS
When MS-DOS remote mail users receive attachments from a Macintosh user,
the file names are illegible.
CAUSE
The Remote client is missing the MAC Binary code.
RESOLUTION
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft,
but has not been fully regression-tested and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Mail Remote for
MS-DOS version 3.0.
