RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.

To reinstall Macromedia Director 6.0.1 from the installation CD-ROM, follow these steps:

Insert the Encarta Encyclopedia Deluxe 99 or Encarta Reference Suite 99 Installation and Resources CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key when you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Encarta 99 from starting automatically.
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK:
<drive>:\support\shkwave\Sw61inst.exe
where <drive> is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive.

To remove and reinstall Encarta Encyclopedia 99, follow these steps:

Insert the Encarta Encyclopedia Deluxe 99 or Encarta Reference Suite 99 Installation and Resources CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key when you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Encarta 99 from starting automatically.
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
Click Encarta Encyclopedia Deluxe 99, and then click Add/Remove.
Follow the instructions on the screen to remove Encarta Encyclopedia 99.
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK:
<drive>:\setup.exe
where <drive> is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive.
Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall Encarta Encyclopedia 99.
