OL2000: HTML Format Used When Sending E-mail from Office

MORE INFORMATION

By default, the other Office programs send messages in HTML format so that the recipient does not have to have Office to read the message.

To assure that mail is sent from other Office programs in Rich Text format, you must mark the recipient's address record as "Always send in Outlook Rich Text format". To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start Word or another Office program and enter some formatted text (bold, italicized, colored, and such).
2. On the File menu, point to Send and click Mail Recipient.
3. In the To box, type the Internet address of the recipient.
4. Press CTRL+K to resolve the address if it is not automatically resolved.
5. Double-click the underlined address, click to select "Always send in Outlook Rich Text format" from Properties, and then click OK.
6. Send the message.
