PRB: IntelliSense QuickInfo Is Not Displayed in Server Collections

SYMPTOMS

A QuickInfo member list is not shown when the user types the following:

Request.ServerVariables(

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

Although other functions can provide a parameter list, collections cannot. Because this is a collection and not a function, a QuickInfo parameter list is not available.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Create a new Active Server Pages page.
  2. Create server-side VBScript block.
  3. Inside the block type the following text:

    Request.ServerVariables(
