When you start your computer after installing Home Publishing or Greetings 99, the reminder service starts automatically. This article discusses how to remove this utility from your StartUp folder.

If you do not want the reminder service to start each time you start your computer, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer.
  2. Locate the Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder.
  3. Double-click the Startup folder to open it.
  4. In the right Windows Explorer pane, click "Microsoft Home Publishing Reminders" to select it, and then press the DELETE key.
