SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to change your desktop theme after you install Plus! 98,
you may receive the following error message:
An error occurred while creating the wallpaper preview. The wallpaper
will not be displayed in the preview.
When you click OK, the selected desktop theme is applied.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Thumbvw.dll file is not registered in the
Windows registry.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK:
- When you receive the following message, click OK:
DllRegisterServer in Thumbvw.dll succeeded.
- Restart the computer.
