Dynamic HTML (DHTML) Behaviors are a new feature in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0. DHTML Behaviors are used to implement specific functionality, which can then be applied to HTML elements on a Web page.
A DHTML Behavior is applied to an element by changing the element's STYLE attribute to include the proposed CSS "behavior" attribute.
In the Developer Preview release of Internet Explorer 5.0, only a single behavior can be attached to an HTML element.
The following sample DHTML demonstrates how to apply a behavior to an HTML element:
<HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>Behavior Example</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <H1>This image has the "bounce" behavior attached to it</H1> <IMG SRC="image.gif" STYLE="behavior:url(bounce.sct)"> </BODY> </HTML>
