SYMPTOMS
When you try to add the Hewlett Packard (HP) JetAdmin service in Windows 98
by double-clicking the Network tool in Control Panel, clicking Add,
clicking Services, and then clicking Add, the HP JetAdmin service may be
missing.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because the HP JetAdmin service is not installed as
a Network service in Windows 98. The HP JetAdmin service is available on
the Windows 98 CD-ROM.
RESOLUTION
To install the HP JetAdmin service, run Setup from the following folder on
your Windows 98 CD-ROM
<drive>:\drivers\printers\jetadmin\disk1
where <drive> is the drive that contains the Windows 98 CD-ROM.
