SYMPTOMS
When you remove the Deluxe CD Player utility from your computer, the
Deluxecd.mdb file (a database containing the album titles, artists, and
track names of the music compact discs you have played using Deluxe CD
Player) remains in your Windows folder. To build a new Deluxe CD music
database, you must manually delete this file.
RESOLUTION
To manually delete the Deluxecd.mdb file, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click File Or Folders.
- In the Named box, type deluxecd.mdb, and
then click Find Now.
- In the list of found files, right-click the Deluxecd.mdb file, and then
click Delete. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.
NOTE: The Disk Cleanup utility included with Plus! 98 does not mark the
Deluxecd.mdb file as safe to delete.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
