SYMPTOMS
Pictures, clip art, WordArt, floating text, and any drawing objects that
are created with the Drawing toolbar do not appear when you use a user-
defined chart type.
NOTE: This problem occurs even when the user-defined chart originally
contained the object when you added it to the list of available user-
defined charts in Microsoft Excel.
CAUSE
Microsoft Excel 97 does not save graphic objects with user-defined charts.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, add drawing objects to the chart after you
create the chart.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft Excel 97 for
Windows.
