SYMPTOMS

When you try to print Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) documents from Acrobat Reader version 3.01 in duplex to a Hewlett-Packard 5Si/5Si MX PS, your printer may stop responding, and you may receive the following error message:
79 SERVICE (0142)
TRAP:0D ADR:007D1588

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install the most current version of printer driver from Hewlett-Packard.
