SYMPTOMS
When you use the Unbind program that is included in the Microsoft Office 98
Macintosh Edition Value Pack to unbind the sections in a binder, the names
of the unbound sections may contain squares or other characters.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the names of the sections contain any extended
characters, such as letters that include accents, circumflexes, cedillas,
umlauts, or other diacritical marks.
WORKAROUND
If this problem occurs, use the Finder to rename the unbound sections. The
contents of the sections are not affected by this problem; after you rename
the unbound sections in the Finder, you can work with the sections as you
normally would.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
