PUB98: Publisher 98 Cannot Open Publisher 1.0 Files

WORKAROUND

Use one of the following methods to migrate your content to Publisher 98.

Method 1: Recreate the Document in Publisher 98

NOTE: If you have both Publisher 1.0 and Publisher 98 installed on your computer, you will not be able to copy items from Publisher 1.0 to Publisher 98. Instead, you must recreate the publication in Publisher 98.

Method 2: Save the Publisher 1.0 File In a Later Version of Publisher

Open the Publisher 1.0 file in Publisher 2.0, 3.0 or 97. Save the file from the later version of Publisher and then open it in Publisher 98.
