SYMPTOMS
When you use the IntelliMouse wheel to scroll through a Microsoft Excel
workbook, you may receive the following error message:
Excel caused an invalid page fault in module Mso97.dll.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the following conditions exist:
- The Excel workbook contains multiple worksheets.
- You freeze a pane in one or more of the worksheets.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
- Click the first worksheet in the Excel workbook.
- On the Window menu, click Unfreeze Panes.
- Repeat steps 1-2 for the remaining worksheets in the workbook.
