XL98: Shape Dimensions Change Between Microsoft Excel 97 and Excel 98

SYMPTOMS
When you create a shape in a Microsoft Excel 97 workbook, and then open the
workbook to view it in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, the dimensions
of the shape are changed.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you create a shape by using the Drawing toolbar in
Microsoft Excel 97, and then open the file that contains the shape in
Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 for
Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post additional
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
To display the Format Autoshape dialog box and find the dimensions of a
shape, double-click the shape.
