SideWinder: Interstate 76 Quits After Opening Video Is Played |
When you start Interstate 76, a game included on the SideWinder Force Feedback Pro CD-ROM, the game may unexpectedly quit after the opening video clip is played.
This behavior can occur if an outdated version of ActiveMovie is installed on the computer, or if ActiveMovie is not installed.
To resolve this issue, remove and then reinstall Interstate 76. When you are prompted to install DirectX 5.0, click Yes.
The DirectX 5.0 Setup program run by the SideWinder Force Feedback Pro
installation program does not install ActiveMovie, but the DirectX 5.0
Setup program run by the Interstate 76 installation program installs an
updated version of ActiveMovie that functions properly with the game.
Interstate 76 is manufactured by Activision, Inc., a vendor independent
of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this
product's performance or reliability.
