PRJ98: Blank Tasks Not Displayed

SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Project 98, blank rows may be hidden in any view that uses a
table.
CAUSE
Blank rows are not displayed when either of the following check boxes are
cleared on the
View tab in the
Options dialog box (click
Options on the
Tools menu):
- Show External Successors
- Show External Predecessors
WORKAROUND
To display blank rows, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the View tab.
- Under Cross project linking options for '<project
name>', click to select both the Show External
Successors and Show External Predecessors check
boxes.
- Click OK.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft
Project listed above.
