SYMPTOMS

If you apply a thick border to a graphic with an irregular wrap, the entire graphic may fill in with the color of the border. This will occur under the following circumstances:
  • The shape of the graphic is very complex.
  • The graphic is fairly small on the page.
  • The border is 8 points or thicker.
NOTE: When this happens, it may appear correctly if you zoom to a different percentage view. It will print incorrectly, however.

RESOLUTION

Use any one of the following methods to correct this problem:
  • Enlarge the graphic.
  • Choose a thinner border.
  • Edit the irregularly wrapped polygon to make it simpler.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
