If you want your publication to have two different background pages (one for odd pages and one for even pages), you can have Publisher automatically mirror the layout guides for you.

To set up two background pages with mirrored guides, follow these steps:
  1. On the Arrange menu, click Layout Guides.
  2. Click to select the "Create Two Background With Mirrored Guides" check box.
  3. Click OK.
