SUMMARY

If you turn off the Microsoft Publisher status bar, you also turn off the Hide Help, Hide Index, Hide Wizard, Show Help, Show Index, and Show Wizard buttons.

To turn the status bar off or on:
  • On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Status Bar.

    If a check mark appears to the right of the Status Bar option, the status bar is visible. If you clear the check box, the status bar is hidden.

  • Right-click any unoccupied space, point to Toolbars, and then click Status Bar on the shortcut menu.
