SYMPTOMS
The Internet Explorer 3.x WebBrowser control fires an event called
BeforeNavigate before navigating to a URL. The BeforeNavigate event handler
receives various information including the PostData. PostData is data that
is sent along with an HTTP POST transaction when a form is submitted on a
Web page. Also, this data can be sent by a call to Navigate().
When this PostData parameter is received in a BeforeNavigate event handler,
it is empty.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in Internet
Explorer 4.0.
