This article describes how to use the Auto Hide feature in Internet Explorer.

When you view Internet Explorer in Full Screen mode, you can hide the Internet Explorer toolbar with the Auto Hide feature. The toolbar reappears when you place the mouse pointer over the toolbar area.

To enable the Auto Hide feature follow these steps:

  1. In Internet Explorer, if you are not viewing Internet Explorer in Full Screen mode, click Fullscreen on the toolbar.

  2. Right-click an empty area on the toolbar, and then click Auto Hide.

To turn off the Auto Hide feature, follow these steps:

  1. In Internet Explorer, when you are using Full Screen mode, place the mouse pointer over the toolbar area.

  2. Right-click an empty area on the toolbar, and then click Auto Hide to remove the check mark.
