The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 for UNIX on Sun Solaris

SYMPTOMS

When you view Internet Explorer in Full Screen mode, and Auto Hide for the Internet Explorer toolbar is enabled, the toolbar may remain hidden when you position the mouse over the toolbar.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use one of the following methods:

  • Minimize, and then restore Internet Explorer.
  • Quit, and then restart Internet Explorer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer version 4.0 for UNIX on Sun Solaris. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
