The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 for UNIX on Sun Solaris

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to view files on the local hard disk with Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer may display a Web page named Unimpl.htm with the following message:

   File view is currently unimplemented.

CAUSE

File view is not implemented in Internet Explorer Preview 1 for UNIX.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
