SYMPTOMS
In the versions of Microsoft Excel listed at the beginning of this
article, if you apply double borders around a cell with an orientation
that is set to a value other than 0 (zero), 90, or -90 degrees, the
borders may not meet at the corners of the cell.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not apply double borders around cells that
are angled. If you apply any other kind of border, such as a single or
dashed border, the problem does not occur.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
