SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, if you click Paste As Hyperlink on
the Edit menu, or if you drag a cell while holding down the CONTROL key on
the keyboard, and then click Create Hyperlink Here on the shortcut menu,
you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Excel cannot paste the data.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if you have not saved the active workbook at least
once.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this problem from occurring, save the workbook. After you save
the workbook, you can create the hyperlink.
STATUS
This behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
