Quitting NetMeeting Does Not Disconnect from the Internet

SYMPTOMS

When you quit NetMeeting, your modem may remain connected to your Internet service provider (ISP).

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you use MSN, The Microsoft Network, as your ISP.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, disconnect from MSN. To do so, click Disconnect From MSN on the MSN menu.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
