FIX: Incorrect Syntax on Keywords May Delete Text
Article ID: 174879
Article Last Modified on 10/15/2002
APPLIES TO
- Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 5.0 Standard Edition
This article was previously published under Q174879
SYMPTOMS
HTML keywords are characterized by an extra dollar sign in the syntax (such
as $$History: $). Using these HTML keywords in a non-HTML document may
remove text after the first instance of a greater than ">" character. If no
">" character exists in the document, nothing happens.

REFERENCES section below.
