MOFF: Control+Click Causes Program to Temporarily Lose Focus |

When you press and hold CONTROL and press the mouse button in any of the Microsoft Office programs, the shortcut menu that you expect may not appear. Instead, the program temporarily loses focus and a shortcut menu with a single item appears.
This behavior occurs if all of the following conditions are true:
The workaround to use depends on the version of Apple Data Detectors that
you are using. To work around this problem, determine the version of Apple
Data Detectors that you are using, and then use the appropriate method.
To determine the version of Apple Data Detectors that you are using, follow
these steps:
Apple Data Detectors installs an extension called Contextual Menu
Enabler that intercepts the CONTROL+CLICK combination and causes the active
program to copy the currently selected text to the Clipboard. Clipboard
then passes this data to the Contextual Menu Manager.
