SYMPTOMSThe first time you attempt to connect to MSN, The Microsoft Network, MSN may stop responding (hang) immediately after you sign in.
CAUSENetscape Navigator may be installed on your computer as your default Web browser. MSN cannot download the files needed to complete installation if Netscape Navigator is your default browser. Microsoft Internet Explorer must be your default Web browser to complete the installation of MSN.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, configure Internet Explorer to be your default Web browser. To do so, use the following steps:
