SYMPTOMSThe Sign-In screen for MSN, The Microsoft Network, may periodically appear and prompt you to connect to MSN.
CAUSEThe Startup folder may contain a shortcut to MSNBC News Alert.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, use either of the following methods:
Method 1Remove the MSNBC News Alert shortcut from the Startup folder. To do so, follow these steps:
