SUMMARY
It is possible to use either user-mode ODBC applications or Microsoft
Internet Information Server (IIS) based database access to a Microsoft SQL
Server through Microsoft Proxy Server 1.0.
This configuration can be useful if your SQL Server is outside the Proxy
Server and the IIS computer is used for your intranet.
This can be accomplished by opening port 1433 on the Proxy Server in order
to pass SQL Server TCP/IP Sockets communication.
