The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you click the Start button and then point to Programs, you may see a "C_" folder listed on the Programs menu.
CAUSEThis behavior can occur if you install a program that uses the Grpconv.exe tool to convert shortcuts.
RESOLUTIONTo remove the C_ folder from the Programs menu, follow these steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 1. This problem does not occur with Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 2. To obtain Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 2, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
