SYMPTOMS

When you configure video camera properties or use the video functions in NetMeeting, you may experience any of the following symptoms:

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are using a Hauppauge Wincast card in NetMeeting.

RESOLUTION

WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

Use Registry Editor to verify that the key listed below has the values listed, and if needed, edit the values to match the values listed:

The registry keys mentioned in this article apply to any video capture card that uses the BrookTree 848 chip set. The 3Com Big Picture camera is a video camera that uses that chip set.
