Can't Hear Audio in NetMeeting with Mwave Sound Card

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the audio features in NetMeeting, you may be unable to hear sound from your Mwave sound card.

CAUSE

After you quit NetMeeting for the first time, an entry is made in the registry that sets the speaker volume to 50 percent. This speaker volume is often inadequate to hear other conference members.

STATUS

This problem has been corrected in Microsoft NetMeeting version 2.0. To obtain NetMeeting 2.0, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
