SYMPTOMS

Databases appear grayed out in SOFTIMAGE 3D file browsers.

CAUSE

The occurrence of this prevents you from accessing these databases and their files. This is caused by a space in the directory name.

RESOLUTION

Verify that the directory name contains a space (i.e.: d:\softimage 3D\) and if it does, remove the space by renaming it.
