PRB: Correcting Dialog Boxes That Turn Pink and Green |

SYMPTOMSWhen you use the scroll bar while the Show Icon is on, browser windows may become pink and green.
CAUSEThis is a known problem that occurs only when running SOFTIMAGE 3D on O2 systems.
RESOLUTIONTo prevent this from occurring, complete the following steps:

SYMPTOMSThe following error message appears when you try to execute SOFTIMAGE 3D, showpic, or flipbook on NT 4.0:
"Error Message-You appear to be running in a non-true-color
display mode."
CAUSESOFTIMAGE 3D for Windows NT can only run in true-color modes.
RESOLUTIONYou must copy the gl4emult.dll file to the SI_LOCATION\3D\bin location. A gl4emults.zip file is located on the Softimage ftp/incoming site. It contains all three CPUs (Alpha, Intel, and MIPS) of the dll.
