Additional Mouse Icon Appears When You Use SideWinder 3D Pro |
When you configure the controls of an InputSprocket-aware game, an additional mouse icon may appear in the game's configuration dialog box.
This behavior can occur because you can configure the SideWinder 3D Pro for Macintosh as a mouse or as a joystick. The additional mouse icon represents the SideWinder 3D Pro in mouse mode.
This behavior is by design.
To configure the SideWinder 3D Pro as a mouse, move the switch on the front of the SideWinder 3D Pro under the word "Microsoft" to the position with two black dots. To configure the SideWinder 3D Pro as a joystick, move the switch to the position with one black dot.
