SYMPTOMSAfter adding a Web site to your desktop, you may receive the following error messages:
CAUSEWhen you added the Web site to your desktop, you may have entered the URL for the site without "http://" at the beginning of the URL.
RESOLUTIONAdd "http://" to the beginning of the Web site's URL. To do so, follow these steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 1. This problem does not occur with Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 2. To obtain Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview 2, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
