Problems Using Internet Explorer with a Proxy Server |

Before you edit the registry, you should first make a backup copy of the
registry files (System.dat and User.dat). Both are hidden files in the
Windows folder.
When you use any of the versions of Internet Explorer listed
at the beginning of this article with a proxy server to browse the
Internet, you may experience any of the following symptoms:
This behavior can occur when you are using the Novell NetWare 32-bit client software.
To resolve this problem, verify that you are using the Novell NetWare 32- bit client and that you are connecting to the Internet using a proxy server.
DontUseDNSLoadBalancing (make sure to type this name exactly as shown)under the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Internet Settings.Set the value of the new value to:
01 00 00 00
After you make these changes, restart your computer.
